How does Bump & Blemish work?
Hair trapped into the skin, or growing back into the skin, creates a foreing body reaction resulting in inflammation (redness, swelling and pain). Untreated inflamation leads to over-stimulation of the melanocytes (dark pigment producing cells) resulting in dark spots. This increase in pigmentation is known as post- inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
